oAlert provides two-way texting between you and your customers. During an outage, customers simply text the keyword “outage” from a pre-registered mobile phone. With oAlert integration to your outage management or SCADA system, the outage is registered and, when resolved, automatically sends a text to your customers letting them know when power might be restored. This service eliminates the need for extra call center staffing and the added cost of purchasing additional phone lines to handle the mass inflow of calls during an outage.
